Remembrance Day has been observed since the end of the First World War to remember armed forces members who have died in the line of duty
Residents and staff at Mary and Joseph House held our own remembrance service on 11th November in our chapel, we listened to poems read by residents, sang hymns and prayed together, each reflecting and remembering in our own personal way
Following the service everyone gathered in the garden to lay the crosses that had been made by residents and staff
