Freedom Day – Care Home Visiting

21 Jul

Mary and Joseph House are delighted to welcome family and friends to visit their loved ones, without the strict limitations we’ve all experienced over the past year. however Care home visitors are also still being advised to keep close personal contact to a minimum, and to stay socially distanced from other residents, visitors and members of staff, Whilst the requirement to wear face coverings in public spaces is being lifted from 19th July, face masks and PPE will still need to be worn inside care homes, and visitors will still need a negative rapid test result for Covid-19 before they can enter the home. The government guidance on this has not changed. We understand how frustrating this can be, but with coronavirus cases on the rise, we all need to do our bit to protect our residents and staff, continuing to wear PPE and keep our distance is to continue to protect them from the virus. We would like to say a huge thankyou to everyone for their patience and support during the last year, it has been greatly appreciated by everyone
