Activities throughout August

During the month of August, our residents have been able to get involved with a number of out-of-house activities. The weather this month has been great which has been great when being outdoors. Above, the Activity Team put together another trip to Knowsley Safari Park in August as it was requested over Activity Week but they weren’t able to fit it in. The residents loved driving around and then being able to walk around the zoo afterwards. Also at Knowsley Safari Park, there was a Sealion Cove. The residents enjoyed watching the show put on for the visitors. Jodrell Bank is a world-famous radio astronomy observatory in Cheshire, England, owned and managed by the University of Manchester. Some of our residents spent the afternoon here and watched one of the exhibition’s in the dome. Our resident’s spent an afternoon at the Manchester Museum.
