In House

Andy, our activities co-ordinator produces a weekly activities programme catering for a wide variety of interest. We also have a Therapeutic Art Worker, Therapeutic Gardening & Woodwork Worker and Therapeutic Music Worker.

Access to many of our in house activities are available to all residents at all times.  Mary & Joseph House offer a wide range of in house activities for all abilities which include: daily armchair exercises, board games, play your cards right, chess, quizzes, band practice, music groups, performances, pool tournaments, darts tournaments, bingo, indoor bowls, cooking groups, craft groups, gardening, woodwork projects, art projects, themed days, sports days, house Olympics, card games, Christmas Panto’s and in-house activities week.

We have suggestion boxes around the house and hold a monthly residents meeting for those wishing to discuss or suggest a new activity. Alternatively residents can always voice their ideas to a member of staff at any time.
